I am super excited to announce my acceptance to the Glenwood Avenue Arts Festival! Taking place in one of Chicago's most vibrant and diverse communities, the festival takes place along Glenwood Avenue which is a hidden gem of creativity and openness in the city. I've captured this area for years, and am so happy to say that I'm finally going to be part of it and show the community what I've got!
Here are some captures that I've taken in the area which shows you how artistic the area is!
The Glenwood Avenue Arts Festival (GAAF) is a free, weekend-long arts festival that features 100+ artists, open studios, and live entertainment on three outdoor stages. Experience art of all disciplines, music, theater, food and drink on the cobblestone streets of the Glenwood Avenue Arts District in Chicago’s historic Rogers Park neighborhood.
The 16th annual Fest will take place the weekend of August 18-20, 2017. Mark your calendars! Join us at the fest launch party, the Friday Night Cobblestone Jam, on Friday from 6pm to 10pm and the artists' market on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 11am to 9:00pm.
