I am a Chicago born and based Italian/Danish self-taught artist who is passionate about capturing the vibrancy of life. I produce an intense original form of photography, founded in an organic process that takes place my his heart, mind, and soul. I discovered my artistic outlet with the help of my adventurous spirit, international experiences, close peers, and experimentation with technology. Having always been fascinated by the culture and diversity of the world, I followed my love of foreign languages with a camera in hand to far away lands inCentral and South America, Europe, and as far as Eastern Asia. Other countries gave me an opportunity to experiment with a wide range of landscapes, cities, foods, and people as my subjects.  In an organic flow of creativity and energy, I formed my gave light to Formatografia (Formato my last name + Fotografia Italian for photography = Formatografia). Since my education and time around the world doing world citizenly things like school and philanthropy, I have returned to Chicago and expanded my scope of work using a variety of techniques to produce images and media across a broad range of categories of work. These include fine art, art consulting, brand marketing consulting, content creation and content marketing consulting, event photography, behind the scenes photography, among others. I  print on an ever evolving array of materials and objects- and I really see no limit in where my work should be printed. In recent times I have stretched beyond photography and am designing fragrance lines as well apparel.

My work has been featured in artistic and commercial publications, art expos, galleries,  restaurants, salons, community centers, and a variety of art/street festivals. I have transformed office spaces in the downtown area of Chicago from into vibrant working places. My work is as dynamic as I am as a person, and I am continuously searching for new and exciting way to print and showcase my work. Work with me, let's create something beautiful.
